Before the 2014 academic year, the University admits eighty-five undergraduate journalism students per year, about twenty-five for the master's program and five PhD candidates. Past graduates include the mass communication elite as well as the leadership talent in Taiwan's major media. From 2014 fall semester, College of Communication starts with a new policy, combining the freshman and the sophomore together, enrolling 210 College of Communication's freshmen; they need to make decision of the major program in the third year. Students who have completed "Journalism and Information Program" or "Media and Culture Program" will graduate and get the degree from Department of Journalism. Both of our master degree and doctor degree change into "College of Communication master degree" and "College of Communication doctor degree".
