Alumni all over the world are the most precious treasure of the Department of Journalism. Our “Committee of Student's Affairs and Alumni Connection” has served to actively maintain the connection between the Department and its alumni, between the media industry and the alumni, and also among alumni themselves.

The Department maintains close contact with its alumni through periodical publications and frequent events. NCCU hosts the yearly “Homecoming Day” on the Saturday of mid-May every year, inviting alumni to come back to the campus. Dozens or even hundreds of the Department’s alumni participated every year.

Our alumni perform outstandingly across the world. Distinguished alumni spread across a wide range of industries, including mass media (e.g. newspapers, magazine, radio, television, etc.), public relations, politics and the public sector, art, and academia. Some of these alumni stayed in Taiwan after graduation. Others went abroad to take up the roles of senior leaders in either the public sector or private enterprises.
